St. Johns County Recognizes November 11, 2024, as Veterans Day

St. Johns County deeply values and appreciates the service and sacrifices of our veterans. The County offers a wide range of programs and resources to support them. At the November 5, 2024, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Meeting, District 1 Commissioner Christian Whitehurst presented a proclamation to recognize November 11, 2024, as Veterans Day. In a heartfelt moment, Commissioner Whitehurst called veterans Bill Dudley and Joseph McDermott to the front of the auditorium to receive the honor on behalf of all service members.
