St. Johns County Holding Press Conference at 12 p.m. Today, Oct. 8, in Emergency Operations Center

October 8, 10 a.m. – St. Johns County will hold a press conference today, Oct. 8, at 12 p.m. at the Emergency Operations Center, located at 100 EOC Drive, St. Augustine, to provide the latest updates on Milton. The press conference will feature remarks from the following officials:

  • St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Chair Sarah Arnold
  • St. Johns County Sheriff Robert Hardwick
  • St. Johns County Administrator Joy Andrews
  • St. Johns County Emergency Management Director Joe Giammanco
  • City of St. Augustine Fire Chief Carlos Aviles

Members of the media are invited to attend and ask questions regarding the County’s response and preparedness efforts related to Milton.

The following officials will also be available for questions:

  • City of St. Augustine Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline
  • City of St. Augustine Beach Mayor Dylan Rumrell
  • St. Johns County Fire Chief Sean McGee
