SJC to Host West Augustine CRA Easter Parade April 20

St. Johns County, in partnership with the West Augustine Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), will host the 2025 West Augustine CRA Easter Parade on Sunday, April 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The community parade will begin at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church, located at 135 N. Rodriguez St., St. Augustine, and proceed west along West King Street before concluding at Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park. The event will feature marching bands, decorative floats, local organizations, public safety vehicles, and community groups. Attendance is expected to reach between 1,000 and 1,500 spectators. To ensure public safety, road closures and detours will begin at approximately 3 p.m. and will be lifted as the parade progresses. All closures are anticipated to end by 5:30 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and observe all posted signage.
Following the parade, the public is invited to attend a youth talent show at Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park. St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office deputies and event volunteers will remain on-site to assist with security and crowd management.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, St. Johns County Fire Rescue, and West Augustine CRA volunteers will provide support for the event, including traffic control, safety coordination, and participant assistance.
