Krista Joseph elected as new BOCC Chair and Clay Murphy as new Vice-Chair

On November 19, 2024, the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) elected Krista Joseph, District 4, to serve as Chair and Clay Murphy, District 3, to serve as Vice-Chair during a Special Reorganizational Meeting of the Board. Both will serve one-year terms in those roles on the BOCC.

“I’m excited to be representing the people of St. Johns County going forward,” said Chair Joseph. “I’m going to be listening, and I would like to have a positive golden era of St Johns County for this next year.”

During the meeting, a Ceremonial Oath of Office for new Commissioners was conducted.
