Pet Center Visits

The Pet Center is open for adoptions on a limited basis. We strongly advise you to visit PetFinder.com prior to visiting the shelter to view our available cats and dogs. Kennel tours will be limited to (2) adults only. Appointments are strongly recommended.

Looking for a new feline friend?

Come meet our adoptable cats and kittens at PetSmart and Pet Supermarket in St. Augustine! The fees are $30.00 for males, $40.00 females, and that includes spay / neuter, rabies vaccine & shots. Come and meet your new furry best friend!

Owner Surrender / Euthanasia

Owner Surrender by Appointment Only – We will begin to accept owner relinquished pets from SJC residents by appointment only, based on available space. We strongly advise you to use our Resources page to re-home your pet.

Owner Request Pet Euthanasia by Appointment Only – We will offer the service of euthanasia for SJC resident’s pets on an appointment basis.
