Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park to Temporarily Close for Maintenance

St. Johns County will temporarily close Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park, located at 1109 Ponte Vedra Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, for maintenance on Wednesday, Feb. 22. It will reopen Saturday, Feb. 25.

The closure will allow a St. Johns County contractor to replace a damaged concrete pad used for emergency access at the site. The concrete pad was damaged by heavy equipment during the FEMA Dune Enhancement Project.

Alternative beach access parking lots in the Ponte Vedra include Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve and South Ponte Vedra Recreation Park. To find information on other St. Johns County beach access points, visit www.sjcfl.us/beaches.
