County Road 2209 Road Improvement Project

Project Description

St. Johns County has begun construction on the $32.5 million CR 2209 Road Improvement Project. This project will add four additional miles of four-lane roadway from SilverLeaf Parkway to SR 16, featuring:

• A 12-foot-wide multi-purpose path on the other
• A sidewalk on one side

“This project is more than just a road project and a sidewalk, it’s about building a better St. Johns County for the people of our community,” said District 2 County Commissioner and St. Johns Board of County Commissioners Chair Sarah Arnold during the groundbreaking ceremony in December 2023.
