Small Business Workshop Series – Hastings

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of North Florida (UNF) is hosting a free Small Business Workshop Series in Hastings. This four-part series is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs gain the knowledge and tools needed for success.
Attendees are encouraged to attend all four sessions, but it is not required. Register today!

- February 6 – Better Business Planning
A business plan is a critical tool for success, whether you’re evaluating the feasibility of a new business or seeking funding from a bank. This workshop will provide an overview of business plan formats, content, and resources to help you get started. - February 13 – Marketing Your Business
Learn how to reach your sales and marketing goals by understanding your products or services, customers, prospects, and competitors. This session will cover digital marketing platforms and social media strategies. - February 20 – Forecasting Revenues and Expenses
Cover essential financial planning topics, including revenue streams, expense analysis, and realistic financial projections. Attendees will gain practical tools and strategies to improve their financial planning. - February 27 – Lenders and Loans: Close the Deal!
Understand the types of funding available and learn how loan programs work. Hear from lenders about what banks look for when evaluating loan applications and how to improve your chances of securing financing.
The Florida SBDC at UNF provides free management assistance and training to any prospective or existing small-business owner in North Florida. SBDC programs deliver up-to-date management advice, training, and information to help business owners make sound decisions and to assist potential owners in getting started on the right foot.
