Development Tracker
Learn more about what’s happening in and around St. Johns County neighborhoods including rezoning applications and special use permits with the Development Tracker Map.
The colored dots on the map show both permits that have to go to hearing and ones that are ready to build. Permits that do not require a hearing are shown by gray dots, while those that need to be heard by the Board of County Commissioners, Planning or Zoning Agency, or Architectural Committees are split into color categories to make understanding the planning process simpler.
To learn about a specific permit, just click the dot and an information box with details and zoom features will appear. The info box will show more about the permit including the “who, what, when, where, how and why.”
Search tips: If you are interested in design elements (signs, architectural themes), use the Development Tracker to click on the Overlay District series. If you are interested in requests to change the land use of a particular piece of property, research the dots labeled Comprehensive Plan Amendments or Rezoning Applications.
