Industrial Development Authority

The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations.

Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County, Florida will convene a private attorney-client session, pursuant to section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, during its regularly scheduled Board of County Commissioners Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the Executive Conference Room adjacent to the Auditorium in the County Administration complex located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, Florida.  The following person are expected to attend the attorney client session: Brad Bradley, Deputy County Administrator; Rich Komando, County Attorney; Ryan Ross, Assistant County Attorney; Chair Clay Murphy; Vice-Chair Ann Taylor; Commissioner Christian Whitehurst; Commissioner Sarah Arnold; and Commissioner Krista Joseph.  A court reporter will also be in attendance at the meeting.  The meeting will be confined to settlement negotiations and litigation expense strategy pertaining to the lawsuit Scott Bullard v. St. Johns County, Case No. 23-1937.  St. Johns County is a party to that lawsuit.
