The St. Johns Housing Partnership developed a 6-unit apartment complex in St Augustine at 79 Masters Drive and celebrated their one-year anniversary. It was funded in part by MountainStar Capital, a real estate firm based in Ponte Vedra. They donated over $500,000 to help fund the apartment complex that has been set aside to help our St. Johns County military veterans looking for affordable housing. MountainStar Capital is organized the event to celebrate the success and to encourage others to consider stepping forward and doing more.
The St. Johns Housing Partnership is committed to promoting safe, decent and affordable housing in north Florida. They do this by creating links between the public and private sectors on projects that create low- and moderate-income housing, rebuild neglected homes and neighborhoods, thus benefiting disadvantaged areas and enhancing community economic and social development.
Founded in 1998, the St. Johns Housing Partnership is committed to developing and preserving quality housing while providing support for residents with low and moderate incomes, the elderly, disabled and Veterans. They are redefining affordable, low-income housing. They acquire and renovate existing housing, as well as build new affordable rental and for sale properties and repair homes.
