About Commissioner Murphy
A resident of St. Johns County for over 33 years, Commissioner Murphy is married to Pamela and they have three children and six grandchildren.
Clay grew up in Palatka and served as a Florida State Trooper for 26 years. After retirement, along with his wife, Mr. Murphy is the proud owner and operator of the local Sonny’s BBQ.
Additionally, he has served his church for over 30 years, has been active in local charities to include Alpha Omega Miracle Home as both donor and board member, a Flagler College Saints athletic sponsor and board member for over 14 years, a previous Oakbrook HOA board member and chair and supporter of many other local charities.
