Public Works Unveils Student Artwork
The previously empty entryway of the St. Johns County Public Works building is now a vibrant place full of original artwork. With the help of students from the St. Johns County School District, five original pieces were crafted for the building. Each focus on a different division: Engineering, Fleet Maintenance, Road and Bridge, Solid Waste Management, and Transportation Operations.
Students were guided by art teachers Kathryn Frericks and Heather Saalfeld Nagy, in addition to St. Augustine Art Association Members Deborah Lightfield and Catherine St. Jean who worked to curate the pieces.

The St. Johns County Public Works Department is grateful for the amazing new art display in its building that will be admired by visitors and staff alike for years to come.
