Utility Department Reinstating Late Fees and Disconnections – The St. Johns County Utility Department will begin reinstating disconnection of service and assessing late fees for accounts with past due balances on or after April 1, 2021. To review your current account status or to make a payment, you may call Customer Service at 904-209-2700, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or the 24/7 automated phone system at 844.752.8845, or by visiting www.sjcfl.us/Utilities.

Water Supply Facility Plan and Proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment – County staff are proposing a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend and update Goals, Objectives and Policies related to water supply planning and conservation, and adopt a Water Supply Facility Work Plan to summarize the public water suppliers in the county and their water demands. The plan identifies projects and policies that will supply projected demands through 2030. Eastern Standard Time Watering Schedules – St. Johns County Utilities recommends residents and businesses follow the St. Johns River Water Management District's EST watering restrictions. These restrictions are designed to ensure the efficient use of water for landscape irrigation and help maintain healthy lawns year-round. The mandatory restrictions include appropriate watering times, the amount of water that may be used, and the days when watering may occur for residential and nonresidential locations.
