About Commissioner Taylor
Ann moved to St. Johns County in 2013 and enthusiastically traded Arizona’s deserts for our beautiful beaches. But her conservative roots run as deep as the Grand Canyon. Ann earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business at Arizona State University which she attended on an academic scholarship.
She lives in St. Augustine with her husband Jeffrey, CEO of a digital marketing agency, and their two teenage sons, Zachary and Austin. Both boys attend Nease High School and play on the football team. Sports are central to the Taylor family’s extracurricular activities; Jeff was a volunteer football coach for many years, and Ann is a fitness enthusiast with a strong loyalty to her local YMCA.
Ann had a successful 25-year career in the medical industry, working for several Fortune 500 Companies. She helped bring to market medical breakthroughs for patients with cardiac and other life-threatening conditions as well as patients with neurological challenges. She retired from her career two years ago and soon became President of her HOA Board of Directors – negotiating contracts for her community and helping to bring families together with community events. Ann has been an advocate to protect residents from a polluter, among other causes. By organizing meetings, rallying support, and presenting her case with conviction and facts, she has led several successful community efforts.
Community Involvement
Ann is passionate about O.U.R. (Operation Underground Railroad) Northeast Florida Conductor Club – to rescue children from human trafficking. She has also volunteered with the Tim Tebow Foundation and has volunteered at her kids schools in our county. The Taylor family attends Christs Church.
