St. Johns County Damage Assessments Underway Following Hurricane Milton

October 11, 2024, 8:50am – St. Johns County has experienced significant impacts from Hurricane Milton. While the storm has moved out of the area, officials advise residents to be aware of potentially hazardous conditions caused by downed trees and power lines, as well as flooding. Damage assessments are underway, and crews are working to remove debris as quickly as possible. However, this process will take time.

Hurricane Milton Damage Assessment Survey

Additionally, St. Johns County Emergency Management is seeking assistance from the public to document damage within St. Johns County resulting from Milton. The survey can be found at www.sjcfl.us/hurricane and will remain open until Friday, Oct. 18, 2024.

This information will be used to assist the County in collecting isolated impacts that may have occurred as a result of Milton and may be provided to other State and Federal agencies as they assess the damage.

This damage assessment survey is NOT an application for local, state, or federal disaster assistance or to make a claim on insurance.
