Barbara Moubray Honored for 20 Years of Service

On September 3, 2024, during the regular St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners meeting, Barbara Moubray, affectionately known as “Mama B,” was recognized for her remarkable 20 years of service as the Administrative Coordinator for the Parks and Recreation Department. Known for her warm, nurturing presence, Barbara has been a cornerstone of the department, guiding her colleagues and offering support to the community.

Barbara was honored at the meeting by Chair Sarah Arnold (District 2), Parks and Recreation Director Ryan Kane, and Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Jamie Bacari. Each expressed heartfelt appreciation for her dedication, professionalism, and the genuine care she brought to her role.

Barbara’s unwavering dedication, compassion, and leadership have left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the community she served so faithfully. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to inspire those who worked with her.
