Pet Center Free Dog Adoptions Through June

The St. Johns County Pet Center, located at 130 N. Stratton Rd., St. Augustine, is facing overcrowding due to increased pet surrenders and strays. To address this urgent situation, the Pet Center is waiving the $60 adoption fee for dogs through the end of June.

From Friday, June 7, through Saturday, June 29, the Pet Center invites community members to find their new furry family member free of charge. Each adopted dog comes with complimentary spaying or neutering and microchipping. The Pet Center also offers free pet toys and food while supplies last.

“We are committed to finding loving homes for all our dogs,” said Paul Studivant, Animal Control Division Manager. “By waiving adoption fees and providing essential services and supplies, we hope to encourage more adoptions and reduce overcrowding in our facility.”
