Parks and Recreation to Host Feb. 14 Public Meeting for Community Input on Shore Drive Trail Project

The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department will host a community meeting beginning at 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the large meeting room of the Southeast Branch Library (6670 U.S. 1 South, St. Augustine) to discuss the plans for the Shore Drive Trail Project.

Residents will be shown a presentation outlining the project details, after which county employees will hold a moderated Q&A for those with further questions.

The project is set to include an approximately 3.25-mile ADA-accessible multiuse trail connecting the Doug Crane and Moultrie Creek boat ramps, new drainage culverts, and safety railings for the trail.
