St. Johns County Sets Ponte Vedra Resort PUD for 1 p.m. Time Certain on Nov. 7
The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will have a public hearing at a time certain of 1 p.m. during its Nov. 7 regular meeting on the agenda item PUD 2023-02 Ponte Vedra Resort. The meeting will be held at the St. Johns County Administration in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine. It will be broadcast live on the County’s GTV channel. In anticipation of attendance, there will be additional seating available in the rotunda area of the building to watch the meeting on a video monitor, and additional parking will be available down the street at St. Johns County Health and Human Services, 200 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine.
The Ponte Vedra Resort Planned Unit Development is a request to rezone approximately 90.5 acres of land from Open Rural (OR), Single Family Residential District (R-1-B), Single Family Residential District (R-1-C), Multiple Family Residential District (R-2), Commercial District (R-3), and Recreational District (R-4) to Planned Unit Development (PUD), to allow the redevelopment of resort lodging, restaurant, recreational, commercial, and office facilities within the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and the Ponte Vedra Lodge & Club Property.
The request was previously presented at the Sept. 21 St. Johns County Planning and Zoning Agency meeting, the Sept. 11 Ponte Vedra Zoning and Adjustment Board meeting, and the Sept. 6 Ponte Vedra Architectural Review Committee meeting.
