Library Advisory Board (2 Members)
Purpose of Committee: An advisory committee created to advise the County on the establishment, operation and maintenance of free public library service within St. Johns County.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30am with the meeting location rotating each month to a specific branch library. **Please note during the current COVID-19 Pandemic, this Board has been meeting at the Southeast Library location until further notice.
Qualifications: All members must be St. Johns County residents. Prefer Representatives from District 1. Term: Members serve a term of four (4) years.

Value Adjustment Board (1)
Purpose of Committee: To hear petitions relating to assessments filed, complaints relating to homestead exemptions, appeals from exemptions denied or disputes arising from exemptions granted, and appeals concerning ad valorem tax deferrals and classifications.
Qualifications: Must be a citizen owning homestead property within St. Johns County. The citizen member appointed may not be a member or employee of any taxing authority, and may not be a person who represents property owners in any administrative or judicial review of property taxes.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets on an as needed basis up to four or five times a year in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.
