About Us

The Personnel Services Department supports, educates, and advises management by gathering facts, diagnosing problems, providing solutions and offering objective assistance and guidance on employee related issues. The role of the Personnel Services Department is to recruit qualified applicants who meet the needs of the departments filling staff positions. To retain qualified employees, the department strives to maintain competitive compensation and benefit programs for employees. The department also assists in the development, implementation, and coordination of policies and programs related to employment, employee and labor relations, compensation administration, benefits management, and training and education programs.

Records Requests

The Personnel Services Department is the official custodian of employee records. All records, except confidential records, are open for inspection in accordance with Florida Public Records law. Copies may be obtained, but all requests must be made in advance.
