Annual Beach Pass

Motor Vehicles are permitted to park on several stretches of St. Johns County Beaches for a moderate fee. Traffic is regulated and the ten-mile per hour speed limit is strictly enforced. Pedestrians are urged to stay alert and use caution. Soft sand and high tides may prevent access and drive-ability on the beaches.

Passes are required for vehicular access from March 1 through September 30. Beginning March 6, passes will be sold ONLY at beach ramp toll booths.

Preseason Annual Pass Sales December 1 through March 1:

  • Sold at Recreation and Parks Office,
    St. Johns County Tax Collector’s Offices,
    and the St. Johns County Pier

  • County Resident – $30.00

  • Non-resident – $40.00

In-Season Annual Pass Fee – on sale March 2 through September 30:

  • Sold only at beach toll booths

  • County Resident – $40.00

  • Non-resident – $50.00

Daily fees – March 1 through September 30:

  • Sold only at beach toll booths

  • County Resident – $6.00

  • Non-Resident – $7.00

Special use permits are available through Beach Services Habitat Conservation Plan.
